From our very beginnings, ICU Medical has been focused on making innovative, clinically preferred products that help make IV therapy safer and more efficient for patients and caregivers alike. Product Quality
Patient and caregiver safety is the focus across ICU Medical’s Infusion Therapy portfolio. Quality and reliable supply directly impacts our ability to deliver on that commitment, and our supplier partnerships are essential in assuring quality products for our customers. The Global Procurement and Supplier Quality teams collaborate with our key suppliers on risk management and consistent high product quality.
New direct material suppliers are evaluated and assigned a risk level based on the criticality of the components supplied and have to pass the requirements set out in the supplier evaluation process before being designated as an approved supplier. Periodic audits are also performed on the suppliers with the highest risk rating as part of the quality assurance program.

We hold our suppliers to the same high standards of business conduct and expect our suppliers to conduct business in a manner that is consistent with ICU Medical’s values as laid out in the Supplier Code of Conduct. Suppliers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and the laws of other countries in which we operate, the Supplier Code of Conduct, and any applicable agreement, understanding, or other binding agreement.

Environment, Health and Safety
ICU Medical expects its suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding quality, health, safety, and environment, provide a safe and healthy work environment, and exercise environmentally responsible business practices. All supplier products must be safe for their intended use and shall meet applicable standards under quality, environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Supplier Diversity
ICU Medical sources from minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and small businesses and will continue to make improvements to enhance supplier diversity by advocating for the inclusion of minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and small businesses concerns in potential subcontracting opportunities where capabilities exist.
