Thermovent T is a sterile, single-use heat and moisture exchanger that provides effective humidification for spontaneously breathing patients whose upper airways are bypassed by a tracheal or tracheostomy tube.

These devices are used to:

  • Treat adult or pediatric patients with a tidal volume of more than 70 mL
  • Reduce heat loss through the bronchopulmonary tree
  • Help to prevent thickened secretions and changes in lung function
  • Supply additional oxygen when required
  • Preserve humidity and minimize damage to tracheal epithelial cells
