CTPAT Commitment

ICU Medical, Inc. is proud to be a certified Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) member. CTPAT is a partnership between the U.S. government and trade industry partners, with a common goal of maintaining a secure and safe global supply chain landscape. We are committed to the development and maintenance of the highest standard of security practices that encompass our business activities. It is our goal to foster a culture of security awareness and strengthen global supply chain security. This program mitigates the risks of threats, contraband, terrorism and human trafficking for U.S. inbound trade operations through specific criteria.

CTPAT Minimum Security Criteria (MSC) are designed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to address the broad scope of supply chain security. These criteria integrate all aspects of a business that participate in international trade. Furthermore, they assist in deterring or managing risks to cargo security from a supplier/manufacturer inbound to a U.S. destination.

ICU Medical’s international suppliers and business partners play an important role within the company’s supply chain security. We encourage our suppliers and business partners to integrate security measures into their facilities and cargo processes. This partnership is an integral part of ICU Medical’s supply chain security. As an importer, we hold our suppliers and business partners accountable for meeting a high level of security practices, helping us to remain competitive and strengthen ICU Medical’s global supply chain security.
