The CardioFlo Sensor System works with the Edwards Lifesciences Vigileo® monitor and connects directly to an existing arterial catheter.
In laboratory and live subject testing, the level of agreement between the hemodynamic data provided by the Edwards Lifesciences FloTrac® and the ICU Medical CardioFlo sensor systems was within one percent.
Combined results showed the average absolute percentage difference between the systems was 0.30 percent for arterial pressure and 0.36 percent for continuous cardiac output.
The CardioFlo system exceeds accuracy requirements set by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
