Molding Material Handler (Salt Lake City, Utah)

ICU Medical, Inc. is a major international medical device manufacturing firm headquartered in south Orange County, California, with a major manufacturing facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Due to consistent growth and high-demand for the best, we are continuing to provide excellent employment opportunities for ambitious, career-minded individuals eager to create and work for a successful industry leader. This growth has also created a need for a Molding Material Handler in our extremely busy Materials & logistics department.

As a Team member you would be responsible for transporting, organizing, and supplying materials to production personnel. Perform dryer loading, cleaning, and ORACLE transactions. The Material Handler must be able to perform warehouse duties and be able to work in a team environment to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pull materials from warehouse as required, and perform ORACLE transactions
  • Operate hand truck or forklift as required to provide materials to production area
  • Supply molding with necessary materials to maintain production
  • Make sure all machine are stocked with material and loading correctly
  • Properly move and load material
  • Make any minor repairs to loading systems, and inform Lead Tech of any other repairs needed
  • Empty full runner barrels into appropriate resell containers, and put empty barrels back into molding

Qualifications:

  • Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent and minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse or material handling operations
  • Computer experience with Microsoft applications required, ORACLE experience preferred
  • Employee’s must be able to lift 50 lbs, and move 200 lbs with appropriate dollies
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
