CLC2000® Positive Pressure Connector

Product Information

The CLC2000 is a revolutionary connector that provides a constant velocity of fluid which exits the catheter upon disconnection of a luer. This positive displacement feature, prevents the backflow of blood into the catheter lumen which can otherwise lead to thrombotic occlusions. It is the patented fluid displacement profile, which allows ICU Medical to GUARANTEE that the CLC2000 will help maintain the patency of vascular access devices. It is also the exclusive technology of the CLC2000 to permit the use of saline flush for any vascular access device, including central venous access.

To see the difference between positive and negative displacement and how it affects the catheter or to see how the CLC2000 works please watch our videos.

Technical Specifications
  • Most reliable way to maintain the patency of IV catheters
