Enteral Valve. The
Lopez Valve
is a stopcock like device, which allows the health care worker
to access Enteral systems without breaking open the lines. This
closed system protects the health care worker from exposure
to bodily fluids that may carry blood borne pathogens such as
HIV and Hepatitis C.
